A mini tribute to The Who

I edited this mini tribute to The Who with excerpts from "The Kids Are Alright" and "The Who: Live at the Isle of Wight."
After setting the needle down on the vinyl cut of "Overture" from The Who's 1969 concept album, "Tommy," I hear, "Don't play that. I'm just not... in the mood to hear that right now." Little did I know that my high school girlfriend associated "Tommy" with her Summertime lover. Her parents had a house down in Rosarito Beach, Mexico, and while I was at my summer church camp she was having a south of the border affair... underscored by The Who.

to whomever edited this vlog...bravo!!! It brings back fond memories of 'the who'...I've especially always couldn't get enough of the Woodstock footage, and at close of the show that you closed your clip with, almost seemed like a religious type of experience (at least to me)...you had 1 clip of the late John Entwistle that I've yet to have seen...but as the years pass the vaults are slowly opening for most all of the 'classic rock' legends...it's hard to fathom that most of them are in their 70's...(for that matter hitting 40 this year was a gut check...)
but just a word of thanks from an
old 'who' fan...
